I donno what's wrong with me these days but I barely have any time to listen to my favourite music these days.Not that I'm this crazily busy person with a 9-5 not having a minute to spare but i really can't remember the last time I sat down with my guitar and played to my heart's content.Maybe its the pace of my life.Maybe its become too hectic.My fingers move like unwilling slaves on the fretboard these days,I can't recognise songs being played and end up staring blankly at the face of my friends who stare at me incredulously.
Same goes for movies.Although I do agree I was never one of your movie buffs I did catch a movie or two whenever I'd get time to spare with my friends.Nowadays I have to rack my brains to remember the last time I saw a movie,read a good book,heard a good song with the true affection it deserves and thoroughly read the newspaper.
Something's going wrong somewhere but I just donno what :P
Its just that I guess I tend to waste my time with too much unproductive thinking,daydreaming and what-not.
I will take a firm resolve and a strong determination to put a stop to all that and make a fresh start :D
I'm always home early from college but ask me as to what I did the whole day and I come up with a blank stare.I just can't recollect having done something constructive/worthhwile.That;'s how pitiful and meaningless my life has become and it really is high time I put a stop to all this.
I resolve!

Haircut
Today was a very uneventful day.Didin't anticipate all the shocked reactions of everyone seeing my new haircut though!I mean I just thought I'd try out something new and here I get these reactions which range from "Good" to "Bad" to "shocking".But the best reaction so far has to be the ingenious Hiuen Tsang.Incredulous!
Anyway I felt it was high time a change was needed but not at the cost of inviting all those utterly bewildered and totally confunded and irrepresibly shocked looks and stares :P
It all started in the canteen when the group of girls saw me.With a scream loud enough to attract the attention of even the usually disinterested Pramod,Radhika turns to me and says,"What have you done to your hair Mono?!!"
Then begins the barrage of questions and opinions...
...Why did you do this?...What rpompted you to change your mind like this?...Have yuo gone insane?...No it'll look better after a week or so when its become a bit longer!...You're looking good only(Finally!..thanks a tonne Prerna :P)...and so on and so forth!
But the best and I mean absolutely takes the icing on the cake type has to be...
...Soumyajit Mallick outside the tuition photocopy shop...
"...You look like Hiuen Tsang!!!"
That corks it!I will think twice before getting another haircut like this done :P :P :P
Another dramatic improvement took place today in my otherwise mundane life
I REJOINED MY YOGA CLASSES!
I have taken a strong determination to lose weight and be healthy :D
(And no I HAVE NOT fallen in love :P)
It was a very curious feeling to go to that place again after such a long time and face the same old jovial man called Mukul Datta via whose efforts I had lost 10 kilos in 3 months and would have lost much more if I'd had the endeavour to continue :P
There's a beautiful Chinese proverb which goes...
"...The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago.The second best time is now"
Putting this proverb into use really has the immense capacity and potential to benefit me in every sense of the term and as Devangana says a lighter me with this haircurt will be a sight to see :P
Feeling very very fresh and energetic and optimistic about life in a very very lobg time :P
