Well!I never thought myself capable of doing so but I've made a resoultion to not come online before my exams!Donno how far I'm going to stick to it though
Today is the day i finally realised I have tonnes to study and very little time to study it in!Bless me.But I'll cope.I've got used to this ever since I managed to pull myself up to the 11th standard.Studying at the last moment has become second nature for me come to think of it!I'm basically trying to console myself here(Nyakamo korar aar jyaga pelo na...i can almost hear someone saying :P).No dude this is the real thing.Not joking.As serious as serious can be.Part 1!!!!
Why did this exam have to approach!But approach it has.60 days.Micro.Macro,Mathecon,Stats.Its on now(rem the ym audible :P).Thank goodness for this platform where I can articulate whatever I feel like.It doesn't necessarily have to make sense all the time does it :P
Today is the day when I will prove to the entire world that I'm capable of dealing with consumer behaviour.Ekta consumer jinish kinte giye eto chaap nite pare kokhono?pagol hoye jabe toh.But I guess its not for me to debate on what Samuelson and the like have posited :P According to this wonderful breed of people who fashion themselves as economists,consumers are capable of dealing with this "chaap" and a lot more(if in doubt,lease look up substitution and income effect in hal r varian :P).It is our sworn duty to therefore sit and study the same :P)
Well i guess my motto should be "Stop cribbing start studying".So i shall do that.
PS-This debate between Greg Mankiw and Robert mises on the negative interest rate really fired my imagination.Just think-what if interest rates were to become negative?Would it cause people to hold more money?Would the economy recover?What about those hwo live on pensions and the like?What about them?Interesting.Two very different approaches by two of the best in the business.
